I bought a brand-new $84,945 Corvette from MacMulkin Chevrolet. MacMulkin submitted paperwork with the wrong VIN number on the title. Because of their gross negligence, I legally cannot drive the car, update the Texas inspection, or sell it.
My vehicle is flagged "Legal Restraint Title Revoked" in Texas state systems. The car is for sale and I have lost MULTIPLE serious buyers because I cannot produce a clean title!!!

Service Dept. is a night mare. Got the run around for 4 weeks. Not ok.
Thank you to the service department at MacMulkin. We have several vehicles which need occasional services performed (oil change, inspection and then the rare, more serious issues) and always treated well by everyone there. Mark D., EJ, Morgan and Mariann are always pleasant and I enjoy speaking with them when I come in. Bottom line is they get the job done and are a pleasure to work with. Great repair work… but the rental department was so petty it cost them a loyal customer.
My sales rep is fantastic and the body shop did great work on expensive new truck. I was completely happy with that side of the dealership.
But the rental department? That was an absolute nightmare — and honestly, shockingly petty.
I rented an older vehicle while my truck was in for repairs. No complaints there. I barely drive during the week and was told my repair would take one week (it ended up taking three, but I rolled with it).

Takes forever to get through to make an appointment. After several disconnects was told it will be 3 weeks to get an appointment just for an oil change. They can sell you a car in minutes but takes 3 weeks to service the cars they sell.
If I could give them zero stars I would. My experience with the Chevy service department is the worst experience of my life. Service Department needs HELP. They were great now below terrible. Excuses excuses excuses is all you get. Took 7 days for them to even look at the car and I had to keep checking in to see what was going wrong on. We have been buying cars from MacMulkin for 15 years and the service depart was awesome they had Cadillac loaner cars and now IF you get one it’s a cheap Chevy. Several months ago I placed a $4,000 deposit on an ERay. Per their terms a customer may get a full refund if the order is cancelled before the build starts. I was number 810 on the list so delivery was at least a year off. I cancelled my buy on March 5 and asked for my refund. Since then I continue to get e mails that the check is “in the mail” . As of today April 6, no check. When I call them, I get “it’s been sent, let me know if you don’t receive it by next week”.

Horrible service department!!!! Russell is possibly the worst of all time. The service department messed up my car (see pictures) and overcharged me (see what he told me it would cost and when I picked it up it was $200 more for two of the items). Then he doesn’t even answer the questions I ask or do anything to fix it! Absolutely horrible experience. And don’t bother booking an appointment online or text them… they joke about how they purposely don’t answer it.
